happy 40th birthday to sesame street!

Many of us grew up watching this show created by Jim Henson. I particularly like Big Bird, The Count (hahahaha!) and the funny couple Bert and Ernie...especially when the latter is playing with his rubber ducky. Long before Batibot (of the Philippines) came, during my early years I am rewarded by my Mom for behaving well by letting me watch this kid show in our 14" black and white teevee set. The very first show aired on 10th of November 1969.

I have to post this eventough it's very late because I'm afraid if would not I might not be able to post another one of this kind next year, haha! It's a very special day for our family today because we are celebrating the 61st birthday of my Mom! I really get emotional when I think of my Mom...I always remember all the hardships she went through (together with my Dad) just to give me and my three siblings decent lives. She taught us so many things about life...what I am today I partly owe to her. Thanks Mamu Carmen for everything! May our Father continue to bless you with good health and happiness and may He add more days to your life so that we can still continue to show you how much we love you everyday of our lives. I LOVE YOU MAMU...WE LOVE YOU!

belated merry birthday to papu!

Last Monday when my Papu celebrated his ___ th birthday! (di ko na ibibisto ang edad niya dahil iyon na ang pa-birthday ko sa kanya, jejeje!). At dahil sa wala ako sa Perlas ng Silangan ay nagkasya na lang akong makipag-chat sa kaniya na may halong tsismisan, kantahan at siyempre pa, kulitan! Pinagkasya ko na lang ang sarili ko na interview-hin sila kung ano ang mga handa nila for that night. That was the 8th time na di ako nakasama sa birthday celebration ni Papu...ang inisip ko na lang next year andoon na ako. PA, WE LOVE YOU!!!
