memories of grade 1

Today is the first day of my youngest ward in primary school. So many things to prepare and so much excitement for the parents. And as for me, so many memories to reminisce. I studied at Cecilio Apostol Elementary School in Caloocan City where that time it's situated where the Grand Central mall is currently located. I stayed there for just a year because that school will be relocated somewhere in the city. Although so many years had passed I still remember few names, events and memories that are associated with that school. Names like Mylene, Barbie, Roy, Rogie and Marie. Memories associated with Superman, tadpoles, kidnaps and academic citations to name a few. Opening of classes or anything related to schools makes me sentimental...so many memories are coming back to me now. Hayz!

happy birthday ruthie!

Happy birthday to my sister Ruthie!!! More birthdays and blessings to you. Ruth, you are one of the best sisters that I have...I'm trying now to think of the adjectives that can describe and give justice to what you really are to me and to all the people that sorround you but I am sure there are no enough words to describe you. It may come out as profound description but you are truly the best! Thanks for everything and I am really, really thankful that we are sisters. I LOVE YOU SIS!

bowling at carribean coast clubhouse

I never tried to play bowling before so I was having second thoughts few days prior to our bowling day. I just made up my mind early that day to join my friends when my sister Ruthie convinced me that I should try some new things and I can definitely post some of our pictures here in my site. Our group headed to Carribean Coast in Tung Chung and had our lunch in Fairwood before our games. I really enjoyed the games although I did not exert much effort because I know I'm out of shape (I don't want to wake up the next day and having sore joints and body) and I only want to spend the day relaxing. I want to thank Pham for reserving the place for our group and Sam for paying the rental of the place, Jan Carl for giving me a basic advice about the right way of holding the bowling ball, Ate Nora for the kakanin, and the rest of the girls (Clarisse, Betchai, Marcia, and Jen) for all the laughter and kulitan. Right after our extended games we went to CityGate to do some window shoppings and to have the birthday celebration of our beloved Sam (sa uulitin ha kahit di mo birthday busugin mo kami, hehehe!). I went home early because I promised the girls that I will upload our pictures right away. So, here are they...

belated happy birthday to jackie chan

I first saw him in the movie The Drunken Master when i was still in primary school and since then I became one of his fans. Jackie Chan was born in Hong Kong on April 7th, 1954. His parents, Charles and Lee-lee Chan named him Chan Kong-sang which means "born in Hong Kong." I may be a day late in greeting him but it's better late than never, right? I do hope that I will meet him in person!

belated merry birthday to papu!

Last Monday when my Papu celebrated his ___ th birthday! PA, WE LOVE YOU!!!
