I am really nervous with the upcoming bout between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto tomorrow (+8 GMT). I don't know why I feel this way maybe because the way Manny knocked-out Hatton few months ago is a tough act to follow and so many people now are waiting if he can defeat the reigning world welterweight champ. Don't want to write...no more...nah! I just want to say God bless you, Manny Pacquiao!

It's the first grandslam for Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro after winning the US Open and defeating the world's no. 1, Roger Federer. I love RF and I hope he won the game but Del Potro was hungry for a crown and played fantastic, too. I guess for Roger and his followers...sweet 16 can wait.

Once again I want to congratulate my favourite...the master...Roger Federer for winning the Wimbledon championship against Andy Roddick. This is the 15th grand slam of Federer beating Pete Sampras' record of 14...what a man! I really wanted to wait for the on-line result of the game but because of time difference I only made it up to the third set last night. I just tried to wake up as early as possible to get on-line to know the result and what a great day today for Federer and to all of his fans! Congratulations to LA Lakers and to all the fans of the team. I love basketball but for the past years I wasn't able to watch the PBA because of the conflicts with my work's schedule. Lately, I was following the NBA finals because of some friends who are big fans of Lakers and Kobe Bryant. The 5th game ended with the winning team scoring 99 points over Orlando Magic's 86 points...with Kobe Bryant winning the NBA Finals MVP award...with Phil Jackson getting his 10th championship (the most in a NBA coach)...and (whew!) Congratulations to Swiss tennis icon Roger Federer for completing his collection of 14 grand slam titles by defeating Robin Söderling in the 2009 French Open and that levels him with Pete Sampras' record. It was a great day yesterday for all the Filipinos everywhere and the fans of 'Pambansang Kamao ng Pilipinas'...the 5th title for Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao after knocking down England's Ricky Hatton. You made us proud Manny! More power to you!

bowling at carribean coast clubhouse

I never tried to play bowling before so I was having second thoughts few days prior to our bowling day. I just made up my mind early that day to join my friends when my sister Ruthie convinced me that I should try some new things and I can definitely post some of our pictures here in my site. Our group headed to Carribean Coast in Tung Chung and had our lunch in Fairwood before our games. I really enjoyed the games although I did not exert much effort because I know I'm out of shape (I don't want to wake up the next day and having sore joints and body) and I only want to spend the day relaxing. I want to thank Pham for reserving the place for our group and Sam for paying the rental of the place, Jan Carl for giving me a basic advice about the right way of holding the bowling ball, Ate Nora for the kakanin, and the rest of the girls (Clarisse, Betchai, Marcia, and Jen) for all the laughter and kulitan. Right after our extended games we went to CityGate to do some window shoppings and to have the birthday celebration of our beloved Sam (sa uulitin ha kahit di mo birthday busugin mo kami, hehehe!). I went home early because I promised the girls that I will upload our pictures right away. So, here are they...
