juan martin del potro's grandslam
It's the first grandslam for Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro after winning the US Open and defeating the world's no. 1, Roger Federer. I love RF and I hope he won the game but Del Potro was hungry for a crown and played fantastic, too. I guess for Roger and his followers...sweet 16 can wait.

federer is world's no. 1!
Once again I want to congratulate my favourite...the master...Roger Federer for winning the Wimbledon championship against Andy Roddick. This is the 15th grand slam of Federer beating Pete Sampras' record of 14...what a man! I really wanted to wait for the on-line result of the game but because of time difference I only made it up to the third set last night. I just tried to wake up as early as possible to get on-line to know the result and what a great day today for Federer and to all of his fans! Congratulations to Swiss tennis icon Roger Federer for completing his collection of 14 grand slam titles by defeating Robin Söderling in the 2009 French Open and that levels him with Pete Sampras' record.
